THE BELLS OF UXBRIDGE - Around 1870, John Bedford Leno; poet, playwright, printer and shopkeeper in Windsor Street, Uxbridge, wrote this poem about the bells of St Margaret’s Church, Windsor Street, Uxbridge. It was lost forever, until in 2015, the staff at Uxbridge Library uncovered a copy. 150 years after it was written, we have re-recorded it, in our shop, in Windsor Street, Uxbridge.

English summer is a song about naff weather. I wrote this song and sang it in Billy Brag style as I felt it should have humour as well as anger. It took all of 10 minutes to write but about three weeks to mix. The guitars are played by myself and the Bass by Dave Anderson with drums' being produced digitally on EZ Drummer, mastered and mixed in Pro Tools. The video is a combination of Youtube footage and me strutting in my front room. The video editing can take forever to produce, but produced I have in After Effects with footage shot on Canon 5D with strobe set to full at 3200iso and a click track.
